Matsutake Dinner: Nightmare of the Underwood
On Monday, October 27, we invite you to experience Matsutake: Nightmare of the Underwood — a five-course tasting dinner celebrating one of the world’s rarest and most storied mushrooms.
The Matsutake grows only in symbiosis with pine trees and cannot be cultivated, appearing for just a few fleeting weeks each autumn. Prized in Japan for its sharp pine aroma, earthy spice, and delicate texture, it’s a symbol of purity, seasonality, and good fortune. Ours are sourced from Tivoli Mushrooms, harvested at the height of their short-lived season.
